Encouragement
The Process of healing and recovery continues
well beyond the acute care stage for individuals with acquired brain
injuries. When physical, cognitive, social and behavioral
skills are affected, individuals need a program of brain injury
rehabilitation that can address a full range of needs.
The Acadiana Brain Injury Center staff is an experienced
interdisciplinary team that develops the most appropriate treatment
setting to create a supportive environment.
Our staff works
side by side with our participants to achieve success by increasing
functional abilities and living skills.
Cost effective
outcomes are achieved by accomplishing measurable goals.
Our Goals are to:
-
Provide a comprehensive rehabilitation
program
-
Formulate, revise, and implement individual
treatment plans
-
Promote independence in activities of daily
living
-
Increase functional activities
-
Enhance self-esteem through accomplishments
-
